This policy describes what we can honestly say today about information on FinanceAvatar. It is a straightforward notice, not a claim that we never use any technical logging to operate a website.

No accounts in this version
FinanceAvatar does not currently offer user accounts, member profiles, or a saved-data login. You do not create a username or password to browse the site. When calculators are published, their inputs are meant to be used in the browser for that visit, not stored in a FinanceAvatar user database.
Information created by operating the website
Hosting and web infrastructure commonly record technical logs so a site can run and stay available. Those logs may include items such as the requested address, date and time, browser or device information, and an IP address. We do not use this page to claim that no technical records exist. We also do not use those records to build advertising profiles.
Cookies and analytics
FinanceAvatar does not currently use advertising cookies or a third-party analytics product. If a future feature needs a cookie — for example, a preference you choose — we will describe it here. This policy does not claim that your browser will never store any site data at all.
We do not sell personal information
We do not sell personal information. The site does not currently display advertisements.
Children
The site is intended for a general adult audience making ordinary financial decisions. It is not directed at children.
Changes
If we add accounts, email collection, or other data practices, this policy will be updated and the date above will change. Questions about this policy can be noted on the Contact page, which explains that we do not currently publish a public inbox.
