When a calculator or explanation depends on a public U.S. rule, program, or widely used consumer-finance concept, we intend to consult primary sources rather than invent figures. The links below are official starting points. Listing them does not mean every page already cites each one, and it is not an endorsement of FinanceAvatar by those agencies.

How we will use sources
Live tools that involve tax withholding, public benefits, or regulated lending concepts should name the method they use and, where a public rule is involved, link to the relevant official page. We will not invent tax brackets, legal requirements, or statistics. If a number cannot be sourced, the tool should omit it or let you enter it.
